2026 Basketball Camp - Summer 2026

Mosinee boys entering grades 3 through 8 for the 2026-2027 school year will have the opportunity to learn from the high school boys basketball staff and players this summer at our skills camp. High school coaches and players will work with youth players to teach them fundamentals and showcase ways to improve their game over the summer in a fun and competitive environment. The cost includes instruction and a camp shirt.

Camp will focus on ball handling, shooting, finishing drills, defense, fun games, team concepts, motion offense fundamentals, and competitions both 3 on 3 and 5 on 5.

Location: Mosinee Creske Gym

Time & Cost:

Entering Grades 3-5 12:30 - 2:00 $40

Entering Grades 6-8 2:00 - 4:00 $60

2026-2027 Grade 4-6 Boys Basketball Season - Winter 2026

PRACTICES: 1–3 times per week after 5 PM starting late Oct/early Nov. Gym time limited; grades may share gyms.

TEAMS & PLAYING TIME: If numbers allow, two teams per grade may be formed. Gr. 4 & 5 split evenly by skill/# at coach discretion. Gr 6 forms A/B teams for travel only.

CHEESEHEAD SEASON: 2 games/day Dec–Jan at local schools. Grades 5 & 6 play Sat AM or PM. Grade 4 plays Sun PM.

TRAVEL SEASON (Gr 5 & 6 only):Begins after Cheesehead, runs through early March on select weekends. Usually 3 games/day, more competitive. Playing time is NOT guaranteed.

DIBs: No DIBs required this year as MYBBB will not host GNBL tourneys.

FEES & FUNDRAISING (all players):

-->Fundraising: $75 buyout or Shoot-a-thon. Players shoot 100 free throws, collecting pledges per shot. Minimum $75 raised or pay $75 buyout (no reward). Buyouts may shoot for fun/practice. Date TBD by your coach. 

-->Shorts: $15

-->Jersey: $45

*Players may reuse previous gear; Gr 4 may also reuse a sibling’s jersey or shorts.
